1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA

As far as options go, the only options really missing from the car, besides the obvious 5.7l V8, is the auto-tilting rear-view mirror. Otherwise, this car came equipped with some interesting interior options:

Electronic/LCD instrument panel (aka digital dash)
Custom-ordered black interior (standard was "tan")
The ULTIMA seats (those famous 'GTA' seats)
Premium Delco sound system (w/ cassette, no CD available in 1987)
Separate Delco Subwoofer/amplifier (w/ separate gain controls)
Pushbutton electronic climate control
Some interesting miscellaneous options (some useful, some not...)

Compare the instrument panel of a digital-dash equipped car like mine to the regular analog dash:

You'll also note that this is a 1988 instrument panel, notable in that the steering wheel controls debuted on the 1988 models. Also, this shot shows the standard climate controls, and some newly-introduced-for-1988 radio which was not available in 1987. Also note the missing subwoofer gain-control slider, which would have gone below the third guage "pod" above... I don't think it was offered in 1988 or later.
